A tragic incident occurred at a party hosted at an event center in Oklahoma City, resulting in the death of one individual and injuries to 12 others, according to police reports.
Authorities responded to a disturbance that escalated into gunfire both inside and outside the private venue in southwest Oklahoma City at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, as stated by Capt. Valerie Littlejohn of the Oklahoma City Police Department via email.
Details about the victims have not been released, although it was disclosed that at least two individuals are in critical condition at a local hospital.
While suspects have not been identified yet, multiple individuals were taken into custody following the shooting, and investigators are currently interviewing witnesses, added Littlejohn.
