A 17-year-old girl was fatally stabbed outside a Bronx apartment building in broad daylight on Thursday, according to police.
The incident occurred on Boynton Avenue near Watson Avenue in the Soundview neighborhood around 2:15 p.m., with the victim suffering a stab wound to the chest, authorities confirmed.Â
She was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center, where she was tragically pronounced dead, as per the police statement.Â
Following the stabbing, three individuals who fled into the building were apprehended by law enforcement, sources and officials revealed.Â
As of later in the day, no formal charges had been filed against anyone involved.Â
