Chaired by Stephen Conry AM, the board aims to overcome any obstacles and ensure the Games stay on track.
The premier has made it clear that no new stadiums will be constructed for Brisbane 2032, following a review of the previous Labor government’s infrastructure proposal.
The focus is on upgrading existing facilities rather than building new ones, in line with the principles of cost-effectiveness and sustainability.
The state and federal governments, along with the private sector, will collaborate to fund the $7.1 billion Brisbane Olympic infrastructure budget.
