Former President Donald Trump responded to widespread speculation about President Joe Biden potentially being replaced or stepping down after Thursday’s debate performance.
During an interview with Fox News on Friday morning, Trump was asked if he believed Biden would remain the Democratic Party’s nominee following the debate.
“Yes, I think he will be the nominee,” former President Trump stated.
Addressing the rumors of Biden being replaced as the nominee, Trump expressed doubt that such a scenario would unfold. He also asserted that he would have emerged victorious against any other candidate who shared the debate stage with him on Thursday evening.
Former President Trump confidently stated, “Another candidate wouldn’t have performed any better. No one else could have done better.”
