ST. LOUIS—Over the weekend, two Delta Air Lines flights had to be diverted due to mechanical issues, as reported by the FAA on Monday.
Delta flight 927, traveling from Jackson Hole, Wyoming, to Atlanta, was redirected to St. Louis on Saturday before noon because of a cabin pressure problem, according to a statement from the airline.
All 148 passengers and six crew members were unharmed, and they were accommodated on another flight to Atlanta later the same day.
Similarly, on Saturday, Delta flight 1950, destined for St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, from Atlanta, returned to Atlanta around 12:30 p.m. after the crew identified a potential mechanical issue, the airline stated.
Passengers were rebooked on another flight to St. Thomas without any injuries reported.
Both aircraft were identified as Boeing 757-200s by Delta.
