A new coalition called “Believers for Trump” comprised of church congregations has been established to garner support for former President Donald Trump among people of faith. In addition, the coalition’s program, “Believers and Ballots,” will focus on voter registration and ensuring that individuals cast their ballots. These initiatives were announced by the former president at a Christian conference held on July 26 at the West Palm Beach Convention Center in Florida.
During the conference, former President Trump discussed surviving an assassination attempt through prayer and divine grace. He emphasized the importance of Christians exercising their voting power and highlighted the upcoming early-voting season in North Carolina, which begins on Sept. 6. The former president also expressed his commitment to protecting religious rights and combating “anti-Christian bias” if reelected.
Former President Trump engaged in a lighthearted moment with the audience, sharing a note from Rev. Franklin Graham urging him not to use foul language. Despite acknowledging his occasional lapses in adhering to religious leaders’ admonishments, he emphasized his support for religious liberty for all faiths, including Judaism.
Reflecting on the foundation of faith in America, the former president underscored the role of faith in shaping the nation’s history and expressed his dedication to supporting Israel in its fight against terrorism. He concluded by asserting that faith remains a cornerstone of American society and is integral to its continued prosperity.

In his address, former President Trump promised to bring common sense back to Washington, D.C. This includes opposing policies that blur gender lines in places like locker rooms and sports, protecting parental rights, and ensuring that minors cannot undergo gender changes without parental consent. He also reiterated his commitment to combatting critical race theory and other controversial ideologies in schools by cutting federal funding for institutions promoting such agendas.
Former President Trump’s speech to a Christian group was followed by appearances at the Bitcoin Conference in Nashville and a campaign stop in St. Cloud, Minnesota, alongside his running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio). Upcoming events include rallies in Nevada for Mr. Vance and a solo rally in Pennsylvania for the former president, with additional stops planned for Arizona.
