AUSTIN, Texas—Houston rapper BeatKing Passes Away at 39
Houston rapper BeatKing, whose real name was Justin Riley, has tragically passed away at the age of 39, his manager confirmed on Friday.
The rapper collapsed during a recording session on Thursday and was rushed to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. According to his manager, Tasha Felder, Riley suffered from a pulmonary embolism.
“His daughters were by his side throughout this ordeal,” Felder stated. “We are deeply saddened by his sudden departure as he was cherished by all of us.”
BeatKing is survived by his two daughters and his partner.
