California Governor Gavin Newsom has signed a bill mandating that all one-pound propane gas cylinders sold in the state must be reusable or refillable by 2028. These portable fuel canisters are commonly used by campers for cooking purposes. Advocates of the law believe that it will help reduce litter in state parks and enhance the safety of park workers responsible for cleaning up discarded cans.
