After testifying in her brother’s defense for four days, Bob Lee’s ex-wife confronted Khazar Elyassnia, the socialite sister of the accused killer, in the courtroom hallway. She expressed her anger towards Elyassnia, stating, “My husband was murdered. She has no right to make herself a victim in this. She can go f–k herself,” as reported by KRON 4.
Elyassnia, who was reportedly involved in an affair with Lee within a Bay Area social scene, is the sister of Nima Momeni, the man charged with fatally stabbing the Cash App founder. Despite her brother’s defense admitting to the crime, Elyassnia spent hours denying his actions and portraying Bob Lee as an aggressive drug user engaged in a swinging lifestyle.
The explosive comments made by Krista Lee on Wednesday stemmed from her previous reference to Elyassnia as “the whore of the high tower” in a text message. The incident led Judge Alexandra Gordon to question the jury members and dismiss Elyassnia from testifying that day.
Elyassnia and her husband are funding Nima Momeni’s defense team, consisting of five attorneys. Prosecutors argue that Momeni killed Lee in revenge, believing he had assaulted his sister and provided her with drugs. However, Elyassnia denies any claims of an affair with Lee or assault.
During her testimony, Elyassnia detailed a drug-fueled bender with Lee and others, including instances of sexual assault she experienced. The events culminated in a confrontation between Momeni and Lee on April 4, resulting in Lee’s fatal stabbing.
