Around the same time, gunfire erupted about five miles away near Downtown Brooklyn, leaving a 36-year-old man in critical condition with a gunshot wound to the neck, cops said.Â
The victim was involved in an argument that escalated around 8 p.m. near Park Avenue and St. Edwards Street, cops said.
He was rushed to New York Presbyterian-Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in critical condition, cops said. His identity wasn’t immediately released and there have been no arrests.
The bloodshed was under investigation.
Hours later in the Bronx, a 33-year-old man was shot to death during a dispute in a public housing unit, cops said.
