The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) have expressed deep concern for the safety of an infant who was reportedly taken by his mother from a residence in Langley, British Columbia.
An Amber Alert was issued late on April 4 after three-month-old Tyler Durocher was allegedly abducted by his mother, 35-year-old Brianne Ford.
Cpl. Zynal Sharoom stated that Ms. Ford is believed to have left the residence on foot with the baby, but despite immediate mobilization by officers following the abduction report, they were unable to locate them.
Authorities are now seeking assistance from the public to help locate the missing boy and Ms. Ford, urging anyone with information to contact the police.
Cpl. Sharoom described Ms. Ford as last seen wearing a black leather jacket, with one side of her head shaved and purple highlights in her brown hair.
While the boy’s father is cooperating with investigators, police are unsure of the circumstances surrounding the child’s abduction and the custody arrangements between the parents.
