The pilot managed to escape the military aircraft before it crashed near Albuquerque International Sunport in New Mexico. Local authorities reported that the incident occurred on Tuesday, resulting in severe injuries to the pilot. The plane went down off the airfield on the southside of the airport around 2 p.m. The pilot was the sole individual onboard at the time of the crash. Fortunately, the pilot was able to exit the aircraft before it went down and has been taken to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Two civilians were evaluated at the scene but did not require hospitalization. The identity of the pilot has not been disclosed, and the cause of the crash remains unknown. Flight operations have since resumed at the airport, and an investigation is underway to determine the reason behind the crash.
