Many individuals have inquired about the continuity of my volokh at law.ucla.edu email address. I am pleased to inform you that it will indeed remain active, as I will maintain my affiliation with UCLA as an emeritus professor, effective July 1. My official title will be Gary T. Schwartz Distinguished Professor of Law Emeritus at UCLA School of Law, along with the designation of Distinguished Research Professor. In the UC system, a “Research Professor” typically denotes someone who has retired from teaching but continues to engage in scholarly pursuits.
In addition to my role at UCLA, I am excited to share that I will be assuming a full-time position as a Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. I will hold the title of Thomas M. Siebel Senior Fellow, and my corresponding email address will be volokh at stanford.edu. Rest assured that I will be accessible through either email address.
