TEMPE, Ariz.—A Democratic Party campaign office in a Phoenix suburb was targeted by gunshots, causing damage but no injuries, according to authorities.
Tempe police reported that the damage was discovered early Monday and is currently being investigated as a property crime, as no one was present in the office at the time of the incident.
It was also revealed that rounds from a pellet or BB gun were fired at the same office a week prior, as reported by the Arizona Republic.
Local Phoenix TV stations aired footage on Monday showing two bullet holes in a door and two more in windows of the office.
Sean McEnerney, the Arizona Democratic Party coordinated campaign manager, expressed gratitude towards Tempe Police for their swift response and expressed relief that no one was present or harmed during the incident.
