A 28-year-old man was taken into custody Saturday morning after he allegedly opened fire around 2:30 p.m. Friday in the 2300 block of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, where people were gathered to celebrate the team’s Super Bowl championship, The Philadelphia Inquirer reported, citing Philadelphia police.
A 27-year-old woman was struck in the leg after she and her boyfriend had tried to cut a porta-potty line, sparking a melee.
A 20-year-old bystander was also shot in the thigh.
