You wanna pizza me?
Employees at a Texas pizzeria asked an alleged would-be thief if he preferred prison or death as they pummeled the gun-toting teen during a violent brawl after he demanded the restaurantâs cash.
The armed maniac entered a Marcoâs Pizza in Austin around 7 p.m. on Oct. 10 and slipped an employee a note reading, âDonât say sât, empty the drawer,â according to an affidavit obtained by Fox 7.
The perp â identified as 19-year-old Richard Curtis â showed the employee a gun in his waistband before the worker grabbed Curtis and put him in a chokehold as another called the police.
The manager grabbed the gun from the teenâs pants and reportedly attempted to shoot the alleged assailant, but when the gun didnât go off, he used the weaponâs handle to mangle his face, according to the affidavit.
The manager then grabbed a knife from the kitchen and gave Curtis an ultimatum: Prison or death, Fox 7 reported.
Curtis allegedly said âprisonâ and stopped fighting as he waited for the Austin Police Department to arrive.
One employee sustained a head injury during the tussle and was treated, the outlet reported.
Curtis was charged with aggravated robbery.
