A disturbed individual riding a bicycle is on the loose after throwing dog feces into an open car window in Manhattan while shouting an antisemitic slur, according to police.
The incident took place on June 4 around 2 p.m. at the corner of Howard Street and Broadway in SoHo, where the suspect targeted a 32-year-old man on the sidewalk.
The suspect reportedly yelled, “F–k you, Jew,” before tossing a bag of dog poop at the victim, which landed inside the victim’s car through the open window.
After the attack, the suspect fled the scene on a bicycle.
The suspect was caught on camera fleeing the scene by the NYPD.
It is not known if the victim, who had no prior connection to the suspect, was Jewish.
Fortunately, the victim did not sustain any physical injuries during the incident.
Authorities are treating the incident as a hate crime and aggravated harassment.
Based on footage from the escape, the suspect appeared to be a middle-aged man with blonde hair.
