A British woman in London has been sentenced to life imprisonment for murdering her parents and living alongside their bodies for four years in makeshift tombs at their family home. Virginia McCullough, who spent her parents’ money and deceived family and friends with lies, will not be eligible for parole for 36 years.
McCullough admitted to poisoning her father with crushed prescription medication in his drinks and fatally stabbing her mother with a hammer. When Essex Police raided her house, she confessed to the murders.
