24-Year-Old Brooklyn Man Fatally Shot in New York City
A 24-year-old Brooklyn man was fatally shot in the stomach in New York City Saturday night, and two people have been taken into custody, authorities said.
Daequan Buckley, of Flatbush, was found with multiple gunshot wounds when police arrived at 54th Street and Church Avenue around 8:45 p.m. in East Flatbush.
He was taken to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Two persons of interest were in police custody, the NYPD said.
One of those individuals was found with a gun on him, according to law enforcement sources.
