There may be trouble brewing in the relationship between Casey Anthony and her partner, Tyson Ray Rhodes, who is married.
Two women have come forward claiming that 48-year-old Tyson Ray Rhodes is actively using the dating app Hinge to seek new connections, despite his involvement with Casey Anthony, the infamous “tot mom.”
Rhodes made the decision to end his 20-year marriage to be with Anthony, who relocated from Florida to Tennessee earlier this year to be with him, according to sources.
Screenshots of conversations between the women and a Hinge profile believed to be Rhodes’ show him claiming to be single and looking for love on the app.
One of the women confronted Rhodes about The Post’s story regarding Anthony. “Did you know you’re in The New York Post for dating Casey Anthony?” she asked.
“Yep,” Rhodes responded.
Upon learning about his situation, the woman declined to pursue a relationship with him.
Another woman revealed that Rhodes told her he was divorced, even though sources indicate he is still legally married to his wife of 22 years.
Both women have been in contact with Rhodes for a while, with recent exchanges taking place within the last week.
“So he’s still married and he is dating Casey Anthony on the side, but he’s still on dating apps,” one of the women commented. “I’m not just a ‘no,’ I’m a ‘hell no.’ He is absolutely not the right guy for me.”
Attempts to reach Rhodes for comment have been unsuccessful.
Anthony, aged 38, has been in a relationship with Rhodes since January after meeting at a gym in South Florida. Following their encounter, Rhodes, a married father of two adult sons, relocated from South Florida to Tennessee. Shortly after the move, he surprised his wife of 20 years by expressing his desire for a divorce.
Although he has not initiated the divorce process officially, sources close to the family indicate that his wife was taken aback by the news.
Anthony then followed Rhodes to Tennessee, renting an upscale apartment near his family residence. Photos obtained by The Post show Anthony and Rhodes together at her apartment, engaging in activities like golfing and going to the gym.
“She sees potential in him,” a friend of Anthony shared with The Post last week. “She wants to see where this goes.”
In 2008, at the age of 21, Anthony was a single mother residing with her parents when her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, disappeared without a trace.
After more than a month of Caylee being missing, Casey’s mother, Cindy, contacted authorities to report the disappearance.
During the search for the missing toddler, Casey Anthony was arrested for making false statements, including claiming that Caylee had been abducted by a nanny named Zenaida Fernandez Gonzalez.
Further investigation revealed that Anthony had spent the previous month socializing and neglecting to search for her missing daughter.
Months later, the remains of Caylee were discovered in a wooded area near the Anthony family home. The cause of her death remained undetermined, but Casey was charged with first-degree murder.
Anthony’s 2011 trial for murder garnered significant media attention.
An estimated 40 million Americans followed the trial, with nearly 100 million people worldwide tuning in to watch the verdict.
The prosecution claimed that Anthony killed her daughter to indulge in a carefree lifestyle with friends and her boyfriend.
The defense argued that Anthony was a loving mother and that Caylee accidentally drowned in the family pool. Ultimately, Anthony was acquitted of murder charges but found guilty of lying to law enforcement on four counts. She was released from custody in July 2011.
Despite her notoriety, Anthony appears unfazed by the potential scandal surrounding her relationship with a married man.
“She doesn’t care if he’s married or not,” a friend of Anthony’s revealed to The Post recently. “I asked her, ‘Casey, a married guy?’ and she just laughed and said, ‘Oh shut up, I’m living the life I want.'”
