The influence of dark money in our political system has led to a rise in wealth inequalities and luxury treatment for funders, shaping the political agenda. While the rank and file voters matter, they are often manipulated by leadership schemes, plutocratic investments, and disinformation.
One underappreciated aspect of this political machine is the pastor networks mobilizing conservative-leaning religious and community leaders to turn out voters for far-right candidates. This movement relies on an information sphere to spread its messaging and control people by segregating them into information bubbles.

Many of our allies are apprehensive about the potential damage to crucial alliances and agreements under a Trump administration. His criminal record, financial vulnerabilities, and disregard for classified information make him unfit for any role in national security. Despite these concerns, a significant portion of the electorate seems willing to support his presidency.
Given the high stakes, it is crucial to utilize the tools of democracy to safeguard our future. Collaborating with like-minded individuals and building a pro-democracy movement at all levels can help counter the influence of the right-wing elite and uphold democratic values.
