Shocking video footage captured two blood-soaked brothers casually walking down a Brooklyn street after they were both slashed late Wednesday night.
The incident occurred at the corner of Emerson Place and Myrtle Avenue, just steps away from Pratt Institute in Clinton Hill, around 11:30 p.m. According to police sources, two men suddenly attacked the brothers, aged 25 and 27.
The younger brother suffered a cut on his head, while the older brother was stabbed in the neck, authorities reported.
Footage obtained by FREEDOMNEWS TV shows the two brothers with backpacks walking along the sidewalk, one with blood covering the side of his face and a large portion of his white T-shirt.
The other brother had a trickle of blood running down one side of his face.
As the brothers passed by, another man stood near the curb, seemingly ignoring the bleeding men.
A woman standing near the storefronts on the block was seen covering her mouth in disgust at the gruesome scene.
Both brothers were taken to Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and were reported to be in stable condition.
After the attack, a bloody shattered glass bottle and a pair of discarded sneakers were left behind at the scene.
No arrests have been made as of now.
The motive behind the slashing, as well as the connection between the brothers and their attackers, remains unclear.
