Following the failed assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump at a Pennsylvania rally, authorities are still searching for a motive. The shooter, who was fatally shot by a Secret Service sniper, remains unidentified.
The shooter’s father, Matthew Brian Crooks, was seen leaving a store and declined to comment on the incident when approached by Fox News. He mentioned that he will release a statement at a later time with the guidance of his legal counsel.
“We just want to focus on taking care of ourselves at the moment. Please respect our privacy,” Mr. Crooks stated during an encounter in Bethel Park. “We will provide a statement when advised by our legal team, but until then, we have no further comments.”
