It was a wild scene at a public pier in Naples, Florida, when a woman tried to evade the police by diving into the water after being caught in the act.
Allyssia Razo, 20, was unable to escape as she was promptly picked up by the beach patrol upon reaching the shore. The Naples Police Department received reports of a couple engaging in inappropriate behavior behind the pier’s locked gate during the busy Memorial Day holiday.
Despite officers’ instructions to stay put, Razo jumped into the water while Westfield, who was naked at the time, stayed behind. Westfield explained to the police that they had initially planned to jump off the pier but got distracted.
Witnesses reported the incident, with one mother expressing concern as her children witnessed the indecent act. Razo and Westfield were charged with trespassing and disturbing the peace, with Razo facing an additional charge of resisting arrest without violence.
Both individuals were arrested and released on bond the same day. The historic pier, damaged by Hurricane Ian in 2022, has only been partially open to the public since then.
