Florida Woman Arrested for Throwing Brick Through Ex-Husband’s Window
Authorities labeled an unhappy ex as a brick-faced liar after a Florida woman was caught on camera throwing a commemorative “first date” brick through her ex-husband’s window, despite her repeated denials of the act.
Sabrina Coyne, 34, was arrested late on Jan. 24 after Lee County Sheriff deputies confronted her outside her ex’s Bonita Springs home, as shown in footage released by authorities.
Initially claiming she lived at the home, Coyne denied throwing anything through the window, but surveillance footage proved otherwise. She was seen throwing the brick with one hand while recording the act on her phone with the other hand.
Following the loud crash of the brick through the window, the homeowner called the police.
Despite her protests of innocence, Coyne was charged with criminal mischief and throwing a deadly missile into an occupied dwelling by the sheriff’s office.
The brick was said to commemorate the former couple’s first date in June 2020 when they went jet skiing together, as indicated by a photo provided by the sheriff’s office on social media.
