Supporters of murderer Richard Allen have released chilling footage of the Delphi murders “Bridge Guy” months after Allen was sentenced for killing teens Abigail “Abby” Williams and Liberty “Libby” German.
The “full, raw” 43-second video was recorded on German’s Snapchat as they walked on Delphi’s Monon High Bridge on Feb. 13, 2017, before the tragic incident took place.
The enhanced video shows Williams and German walking on the bridge, with the “Bridge Guy” believed to be Allen following them.
German whispers to Williams as they continue walking, indicating concern about the man following them.
The video captures the last moments of the girls before they were found murdered the next day.
The Delphi case remained unsolved until Allen’s arrest in October 2022, where he confessed to the killings during phone calls from prison.
Despite Allen’s confessions, his defense team argued that his claims were false, attributing it to his mental state after months of solitary confinement.
During the trial, prosecutors detailed the events leading to the tragic incident, where Allen forced the girls off the trail at gunpoint before committing the heinous act.
Allen was found guilty and sentenced to 130 years in prison, but his defense team has filed an appeal, claiming his innocence.
The release of the video on a website supporting Allen has raised questions about the fairness of the trial and the evidence presented.
Allen’s attorney, Stacey Uliana, clarified that the video’s release is unrelated to the ongoing appeal process.
