The HI New York City Hostel, where the suspect linked to the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson stayed, has been flooded with reviews, with some criticizing the workers for cooperating with the police.
One disgruntled reviewer wrote, “Snitches get…one star reviews. Since snitches aren’t covered by my health insurance anymore,” on the hostel’s Google page.
After the release of photos of the suspect, who was seen smiling and interacting with a receptionist at the front desk, the Upper West Side boardinghouse received a wave of negative feedback.
Sources revealed that the suspect removed his face mask and smiled widely when asked to show his face by the receptionist. He used a fake ID from New Jersey and paid in cash before carrying out the fatal shooting of Thompson outside the Hilton hotel in Midtown.
One user sarcastically praised the hostel for accepting a fake ID while jokingly giving it a five-star rating.
In a scathing one-star review, a Google poster accused the staff of betraying the suspected killer.
