You belong to a powerful, lively, highly engaged, knowledgeable, and well-educated community that stretches from coast to coast in the United States and beyond to Canada, Latin America, and around the globe. You are well-informed, passionate, and committed to ideals, with a sophisticated understanding of the world, open-minded towards facts, and ready to support moral intuition and the cause of freedom. You are part of a vast global community, even if you may not know everyone in it.
I have recently become aware of this as I have been spending the last 10 hours, with many more to come, reading personal emails from thousands of readers. Due to a technological oversight, likely my own error, there was a collection of emails from readers that I had not noticed. These emails spanned over 24 months, and I am diligently working through them. While I deeply regret this oversight, I am grateful for gaining insight into the tumultuous events of our times and how good people have navigated through them.
I have not completed my task yet, but I must say: I am truly amazed by the intelligence and passion I see in these emails. I am touched that so many of you are dedicating yourselves to understanding and engaging in public affairs. I can confidently say: you are making a difference. Each and every one of you.
The readers of this publication, who are clearly vast and international, are a special kind. You are not sheep or “non-playing characters” as often mocked on social media. You possess the ability to discern what is on the surface and what lies beneath, to integrate ideas from various disciplines and history, to understand the influence of the public mind on power, and much more.
You may feel like you are alone, but I assure you that you are not. You are part of something remarkable, magnificent, and transformative. You are the generation of change, the ones who stood against despotic trends and made possible what many deemed impossible—a shift towards reclaiming the values that form the foundation of civilization.
Moreover, you understand the odds and have refused to accept that you cannot make a difference. You have known all along that the only way that statement holds true is if you do nothing.
Instead, you have taken action. You might have formed discussion groups, shared articles with friends, engaged on social media, fought against censorship, delved into reading and reflection, educated your children, supported grandchildren, prayed, and actively participated in your community despite social pressures.
In these times, these acts require moral courage. Against the odds and risking much, you chose to believe that doing the right thing will yield rewards. And you were right.
Each of you has battled internal struggles of loneliness and despair. You have recognized that those negative emotions were intentionally imposed. Someone somewhere thought it clever to create social distance, ban gatherings, censor online content, and control the flow of information.
Yet, you saw through it all, fought against personal darkness, and worked to rebuild your life, form new connections, and bring light back into the world.
You stood up against the powers that be, feeling alone at times, challenging mainstream media, medical authorities, academia, tech giants, and influential billionaires. You drew inspiration from David facing Goliath, knowing that change was possible due to legends, history, and moral imperative.
And you succeeded. We have witnessed a turning point. We have seen the mighty tremble and the media falter. The powerful figures who dictated terms to you were shocked that you did not comply. Instead, you used these challenging years to learn, reflect, and take action.
You have utilized your freedoms to reclaim them for all or at least give freedom a chance. You shared, hosted, conversed, voted, made new friends, and built communities that shared your struggles. You spoke openly and listened to others.
There were times when you quietly helped the lonely, injured, lost, defamed, or cancelled. You offered words of encouragement, opened your homes, provided meals, made connections, and showed compassion to those in need.
You have been a beacon of hope for those too afraid to ask for help, a source of comfort for those in deep despair, and a guiding light for those who needed a helping hand at just the right moment. Your actions may have even saved lives.
For years, the message has been to give up and submit, but you chose to defy that narrative. You were born to live a good life and uplift others along the way, despite the doubts of some elites and even yourself. You tapped into hidden reservoirs of strength and energy, empowering yourself with each act of intuition and courage.
You sought out sources of hope in music, literature, childhood memories, and words of wisdom from loved ones. By straying from mainstream beliefs and conducting your own research, you discovered truths that resonated deeply with you. Your dedication to knowledge and understanding is truly remarkable.
