Fire Hero Families to Attend 43rd Annual National Fallen Firefighters Foundation Memorial Weekend
Fire Hero Families from all over the United States will gather in Emmitsburg, Maryland, on May 4–5 for the 43rd Annual National Fallen Firefighters Foundation Memorial Weekend. This year’s event will honor 89 firefighters who lost their lives in the line of duty in 2023, as well as 137 firefighters who were killed in previous years. The weekend will be a national tribute to these brave individuals who sacrificed their lives to protect others.
