A postal worker allegedly attacked his colleague, stabbing her in a Staten Island apartment on Wednesday, as per police sources.
The incident occurred when the mailman, after arguing with the 26-year-old woman, used a pocket knife to assault her inside the Dongan Hills apartment around 3 p.m., according to sources.
Following the attack, the mailman fled the scene in a black BMW sedan, wearing a USPS jacket.
The pair were not on duty when the violent incident occurred in the woman’s fifth-floor apartment near Dongan Hills Avenue and Richmond Road.
Police responded to the scene after the woman asked a neighbor to call 911, sources revealed.
