The individual, identified solely as Yong Li, aged 33, was apprehended on August 2nd after detectives from the sheriff’s station in Moreno Valley executed a search warrant at the warehouse situated in the 3400 block of De Forest Circle in Jurupa Valley, a city located around 45 miles east of Los Angeles.
The warrant was secured following an investigation spanning several months by the Special Enforcement Team of the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s station, which commenced probing a theft ring involving retail and trailer-cargo in February 2024.
Li was placed under arrest and booked into the Larry D. Smith Correctional facility in Banning. He faces charges of receiving known stolen property, credit card forgery, and theft, with an aggravated white-collar crime enhancement, according to the sheriff’s department.
His next scheduled court appearance is on August 14th at the Riverside Hall of Justice.
