A tragic incident unfolded in Chinatown on Saturday night, just a block away from police headquarters, resulting in one man losing his life and another being injured in a double shooting.
The shooting took place in the Two Bridges neighborhood of Manhattan, specifically between Madison St. and St. James Place, around 7:26 p.m. as reported by the NYPD.
Both victims were rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where one was initially in critical condition due to a gunshot wound to his neck, ultimately succumbing to his injuries.
The other victim, who sustained a gunshot wound to the buttocks, is currently in stable condition according to the police.
As of now, no arrests have been made and the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
