A 47-year-old man was shot in broad daylight on the Upper West Side on Thursday morning, according to police.
He sustained gunshot wounds to the shoulder and leg at the intersection of West 69th Street and Columbus Avenue around 9:20 a.m., as reported by law enforcement.
The victim was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital in stable condition.
The suspect, who is still at large, is described as a man in his 40s wearing a black hoodie, green jacket, tan pants, and carrying a black firearm, according to authorities.
The motive behind the shooting remains unknown at this time.
