The man accused of shoving an 82-year-old woman onto Queens subway tracks last week has been arrested and charged with attempted murder, according to police.
Brandon Harris, 35, who lives near the Flushing-Main Street No. 7 station where the incident occurred, is also facing a felony assault charge.
The attack, which happened around noon while the train was in the station, was carried out by Harris, who was a stranger to the victim.
The elderly woman suffered a head injury and was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, where she is in stable condition.
Harris has a history of arrests, including a misdemeanor assault in July 2020 following a dispute with the victim.
