A 22-year-old migrant was attacked outside a shelter in Brooklyn on Thursday for sitting on the attacker’s electric moped, according to sources.
Identified as Cristian Concepcion, 25, he became enraged upon seeing another resident sitting on his moped outside the shelter located on Hall Street and Flushing Avenue near the Brooklyn Navy Yard, sources reported.
An altercation between the two migrants escalated into violence when Concepcion allegedly stabbed the man twice in the chest with a knife around 12:15 p.m., as per police and sources.
“It was a whole dispute over territory or the scooters,” a police source informed The Post.
The victim was promptly taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital by EMTs in serious but stable condition.
Concepcion, reportedly from Venezuela, was taken into custody and charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon, and menacing.
His arraignment was scheduled for Thursday night.
