A pair on mopeds stole a bag containing over $150,000 worth of jewelry, including a diamond-studded chain and an expensive watch, from a man in Queens in broad daylight last month, according to police.
The two thieves, each on their own moped, approached the 35-year-old victim at 68th Avenue and 108th Street in Forest Hills around 4 p.m. on March 24, authorities said. Photos of the suspects were released by the police on Tuesday.
The suspects forcefully took the victim’s bag, which contained $150,000 worth of various jewelry items, including a diamond-encrusted chain and a $2,500 watch, according to the police.
Both individuals fled on their mopeds and were still at large as of Wednesday.
The victim received treatment from EMS for minor injuries to his face and hand, as per the police.
