The missing individuals from the superyacht Bayesian include Jonathan Bloomer and his wife, as well as tech magnate Mike Lynch and his 18-year-old daughter Hannah.
Chris Morvillo had represented Mike Lynch during a criminal trial earlier this year, which resulted in Lynch’s acquittal.
Mike Lynch, the founder of Autonomy, faced accusations of deceiving Hewlett Packard about the company’s financial health before its acquisition in 2011.
Lynch, known as the “Bill Gates of Britain,” sold Autonomy to HP for $11.7 billion, making a personal profit of $800 million.

The superyacht was reportedly owned by Lynch’s wife, Angela Bacares, who survived the incident. Fifteen people were rescued from the water, including a one-year-old child, while the body of crew member Ricardo Thomas was recovered.
The wreck of the superyacht now lies at the seabed, approximately 150 feet below the surface. Salvatore Cocina expressed concerns that the bodies may be trapped inside the vessel.
Investigators have opened an inquiry into the incident, and the British government’s Marine Accident Investigation Branch has dispatched inspectors to conduct a preliminary assessment.
According to meteorologist Luca Mercalli, the storms in Southern Italy were exacerbated by unusually high sea surface temperatures.
The Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office stated, “We are in contact with the local authorities following an incident in Sicily and stand ready to provide consular support to British nationals affected.”
