Unprovoked Attacks in NYC
An elderly woman was randomly attacked by an assailant wearing an “X-Men” T-shirt in the East Village last week. The 68-year-old victim was walking near Stuy Town apartments when the attacker struck her in the back with a metal object and fled the scene.
Surveillance footage released by the NYPD shows the suspect wearing his “X-Men” T-shirt, black pants, gray sneakers, and carrying a backpack.
The victim declined medical attention, and the suspect remains at large.
