Police are searching for a suspect accused of raping a 5-year-old girl inside a Staten Island home last week.
Dominique Giles, 30, allegedly sexually assaulted the child, who was known to him, on Jan. 22 inside a residence near Richmond Terrace and Sharpe Avenue in Port Richmond around 5:38 a.m., according to authorities.
The suspect then fled the home on foot, according to police.
The young girl was taken to Richmond University Medical Center for an evaluation after the disturbing incident.

He faced charges of felony criminal mischief of property and assault, as per the police.

The NYPD has released a mug shot of the suspect in hopes of apprehending him.
