The NYPD is seeking a suspect who made antisemitic remarks towards a 65-year-old man and spat on his face on the Upper East Side last month.
The incident occurred around 4:10 p.m. on July 27 near 5th Avenue and East 68th Street, according to police.
The suspect also pulled down the victim’s face mask and spat on his face before fleeing towards Madison Avenue on foot, according to authorities.
The NYPD is treating the incident as a hate crime.
Surveillance footage of the suspect shows a man wearing a black hat and sunglasses, carrying bags and with water bottles around his neck.
At the time of the incident, the suspect was dressed in black pants and a multicolor shirt.
