Civil rights attorney Ben Crump, who accompanied Mr. Jackson, praised his determination in fighting against Suntory’s actions. Mr. Crump emphasized the importance of supporting black entrepreneurs like Mr. Jackson in corporate America.
During a press conference outside the Capitol, Rep. Troy Carter highlighted Mr. Jackson’s meetings with leaders from both political parties and emphasized the importance of economic opportunities for all communities.
