The gag order prohibits Trump from commenting on various aspects of the trial, leading to fines for violations. Good and other Republicans accused Democrats of attempting to keep Trump off the ballot through legal tactics. They emphasized the importance of protecting Trump’s rights and ensuring a fair legal process.
According to his legal team, the gag order infringes upon constitutional rights because President Trump is the top GOP presidential candidate.
