An angry lover threatened, “I am not leaving until I see you bleed,” before allegedly attacking her boyfriend when he tried to end their relationship in their Long Island home, according to authorities.
Marienny Yanez, 29, reportedly became enraged and stabbed her 29-year-old boyfriend’s safe with knives, causing $100 in damages, after he expressed his desire to break up at their Levittown residence on Tuesday night, as per Nassau County cops and prosecutors.
According to a criminal complaint, Yanez chillingly warned, “I am not leaving until I see you bleed.”
Shortly after, the scorned girlfriend allegedly lunged at her boyfriend and cut his forearm, leaving a trail of blood in the kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom of the home near Orchid Road and Snapdragon Lane at around 9:30 p.m., officials stated.
Yanez then dropped the knives, called an Uber, and took him to a nearby hospital, according to the complaint.
Police responded to the bloody scene, but it was empty.
Yanez was later apprehended at the hospital and charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
