The U.S. Secret Service issued an apology following an incident at a Massachusetts hair salon where agents assigned to protect Vice President Kamala Harris covered a security camera, entered the salon without permission, utilized the restroom facilities, allowed individuals from other agencies to do the same, and departed without properly securing the premises. Initially denying any involvement in the unauthorized entry, the Secret Service later acknowledged their agents’ actions after facing inquiries from the media. The head of the agency’s Boston office personally reached out to the salon owner to express regret for the incident.
