A Tiger Mauls Animal Handler at Dreamworld Theme Park
An animal handler at the Gold Coast theme park Dreamworld was hospitalized after being mauled by a tiger while on duty. The woman, in her 30s, suffered injuries to her arm and was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in stable condition on Monday morning.
A spokesperson for the theme park confirmed the incident, describing it as isolated and rare. Dreamworld, Australia’s largest theme park known for its rides and animal exhibits, stated that a thorough review will be conducted in response to the incident.
