The position of special envoy for the conflict is currently non-existent.
President-Elect Donald Trump has announced his nomination of Keith Kellogg as the special envoy for the Ukraine-Russia conflict.
Kellogg previously held the position of chief of staff for the White House National Security Council during Trump’s first term, as well as serving as national security adviser to then-Vice President Mike Pence.
Although the role of special envoy for the conflict does not currently exist, it is expected to be established by Trump early in his second term.
