Two 19-year-old high school students, Jayvis McClover and Roddrick McQueen, were arrested for assaulting a teacher at Dillard High School in Florida. The incident, caught on camera, showed the teacher being forced into a fetal position while being attacked by the students.
The assault took place around 2 p.m. when the students threatened the teacher before launching a vicious attack, punching him multiple times in the face and head. The teacher crumpled to the ground, attempting to protect himself from further harm.
Video footage shows one of the suspects on top of the teacher during the altercation, with other staff members intervening to separate them.
After the teacher managed to get to his feet, he was seen trying to restrain one of the attackers while security personnel attempted to control the situation.
The teacher sustained injuries to his face and reported back pain following the assault.
McClover and McQueen were charged with battery on a public or private education employee and were released from custody with orders to stay away from the teacher and the school.
