Police reported that two teenage boys were stabbed after an altercation inside a fast-food restaurant in Manhattan.
The incident occurred at Panda Express located at 2852 Broadway, near 11th Street, around 1 p.m. on Saturday. The victims, aged 16 and 17, got into an argument with a man in his 20s which led to the stabbing, according to authorities.
One of the teens was stabbed in the lower back while the other was stabbed in the abdomen. Both victims were taken to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, said an NYPS spokesperson.
Authorities are currently searching for a suspect described as a man in his 20s with curly hair, last seen wearing a black hooded shirt, black jeans, and a blue mask. No arrests have been made at this time.
The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction following the stabbing, as per police statements.
A manager at Panda Express declined to provide any comments regarding the incident.
The fast-food establishment is situated approximately half a mile away from Columbia University.
