An incident unfolded at the Atlantic Terminal Mall near the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Wednesday when a 40-year-old woman went on a random punching spree, attacking shoppers. One of her victims retaliated by stabbing her in the back around 1 p.m., according to the police.
It was reported that the woman, who was described as emotionally disturbed, punched the wrong person, leading to the stabbing. The attacker fled the scene, and the wounded woman was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in stable condition.
Photos captured by The Post show the wounded woman being loaded into an ambulance after the stabbing. The accused stabber is still at large, having fled northbound on Flatbush Avenue.
