Vice presidential contenders Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz are set to participate in the sole vice presidential debate of the 2024 election season in New York City on October 1. The debate will be moderated by CBS News’s Margaret Brennan and Norah O’Donnell.
Brennan, who hosts “Face the Nation,” and O’Donnell, who hosts the “CBS Evening News,” will make history as the first female duo to moderate a vice presidential debate.
O’Donnell has been a part of CBS News since 2011, having previously worked at NBC News from 1999 to 2011 in various correspondent and anchor positions.
